Trip to West Coast of the United States, 10 Days.
The plan of easy and cheap trip to United States, single person.
If this is the first time for you to travel to United States, you can start with the West Coast of United States.
The impression that the East is well developed, with lots of towels, how ever there are many famous scenic spots and natural features in the West Coast.
I will defined this trip as"Shopping Trip"!
I. Transportation from TPE to SFO
AIRLINE:
There are a lot of airlines flying from Taiwan to San Francisco to choose from, included cheaper airlines or general airlines as China Airlines/ Evergreen... and so on.I have been traveled to United States many times, however this will be the first time for me to travel to United States by myself.

Personally I recommend EVA airline, because it takes 13 hours flight from Taiwan to California.
Unaccompanied Minor:
If you are an unaccompanied Minor, You may have to pay attention on the service on which airline you are taking.
1. Evergreen accepts children from 5 to 12 years old to travel alone.
2. If the companion is under the age of 16, the 5 to 12 year old child is still considered as unaccompanied minor.
After I arrived the San Francisco International Airport, I will take the Bart to the hotel or my family's house.

For this trip, I will focus on the yellow line. Since I have some relatives lives close to the stations.
If you will travel to a lot of places, I recommend you to rent a car.
The cost is lower and the maneuverability is higher, but the disadvantage is that it takes longer to get the car.
Never borrow a car other than the Car Rent
No one will lend car to you, because when you borrow the car, everything is the responsibility of the owner.Which means that the owner of the car will have to pay all the damages you made, also he or she has to pay the penal sum.
II. The Basic Differences Between US & TW
1. Time difference: US standard time GMT-8 hours, Taiwan GMT+8 hours (US 16 hours later than Taiwan)
2. Voltage: U.S. voltage is 115/120V, Taiwan voltage is 110V
(basically, 3C products can be used directly)
3. Consumption: U.S. states have different taxes. The key is to remember to pay a total of 10~15% tip after payment.
Gump Shrimp Company
San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf "Gump Shrimp Company" is a well-known queuing restaurant in Pier 39.
It is a restaurant with the theme of the film Forrest Gump. The layout of the store is also surrounded with the stage property.
The Blue Bottle
Blue Bottle Coffee is a coffee shop originated in San Francisco Bay Area. Around year 2000, a freelance musician and a coffee enthusiast joined a coffee shop called Blue Bottle in Auckland, the Bay Area. At the beginning, Blue Bottle coffee was mainly set up on the various markets.
