"テニスの王子様" is a Japanese comic about tennis. The original author was Takeshi Konomi. This masterpiece has been adapted into animation, stage drama, movies and video games as well. The name of the comic is often shortened in to Tenni-Pri (テニプリ), which is "Tennis Prince".
The comic was published in Japan in "Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump" in July 1999, and stop published on March 3, 2008.
BACKGROUND:
青春学園 Seishun Gakuen / 青学 Seigaku is the middle school where Ryoma study, this school is known for their strong tennis team and talented players. However Ryoma quickly won a lot of senior, then shortly after he become one of the regular player.
越前 リョーマ Echizen Ryoma
Ryoma is the only first grader that play for race,his"Twist serve"is his special serve, bounce high and curve toward the receiver's face. His arsenal of skills also include the Drive A, B, C, and D, the Cool Drive, the Samurai Drive, and Cyclone Smash.

From Ryoma's brave tone, there is a strong will to achieve the champion. It was approved by the majority of people such as Tsinghua Guoguang, senior of the Youth Academy of Tennis, Tokugawa Keiko, Toshio Kurosuke, and Ryugasaki coach. From Ryoma,s excellent ability for learning and copied skills from each other's talented player, he has improved a lot, and became a strong player.
The location takes place at Tokyo, Japan.
Also takes place at United States too, since Ryoma is born there.
The anime series was directed by Takayuki Hamana, animate made by the company Trans Arts and also cooperated with Nihon Ad Systems and TV Tokyo, and the animate become famous in Japan on the animate television network Animax and the TV Tokyonetwork from October 10, 2001 to March 30, 2005, spanning a total of 178 episodes.
The voice actor of Ryoma is Takeuchi Junko, and suprisinly the voice actor is female
Takeuchi Junko is a super famous voice actor, and also a very active voice actor in rest of the world. Her masterpieces include "Naruto" Naruto Uzumaki / "Digital Monster" Shinohara Takuya / "Hunter" jie / "Gamemaster" Hippo Guipeng / "Love Diviner" Yingying, Tianjin ... and many other works, they have cooperated in several animation works.
